How many Americans are satisfied at work?

by John Marshall on January 5, 2010

Many Americans are not happy that they are unemployed, but guess what? The people who do have jobs are not happy either. A new study shows that 65% of Americans are not happy with there jobs they currently have. That is the highest number ever recorded in the 22 years of the study being done.
Many of the contributions to this are……

  • Fewer workers consider their jobs to be interesting and fun.
  • Incomes have not kept up with inflation leaving many people having trouble playing the bills.
  • The soaring cost of health insurance has eaten into workers’ take-home pay.
  • Many layoffs have left employees worried about there job security and if they will be next.

My question to everyone who is unhappy about their job is, why stay unhappy? At the end of my 3rd tour in Iraq I didn’t like my job anymore. I loved being in the Army, but I knew it was time for me to move on. Instead of staying in the Army, I decided to start my own business and take control of my own job security.

Now I know many Americans financially can’t walk away from there current job today, but it is up to them to make a change. That change must be made by each and every one of those unhappy people who don’t want to be a statistic 10 years from now.

So how do you go about taking control of your life so you can be happy at your job? Well I took Robert Kiyosaki’s advice and went into network marketing.  I also went into internet marketing and have been learning everything I can over the last year.

This might be something that can help you or it might not. Just keep in mind it’s up to you to decide to be happy or stay in your current position.  With all the opportunities that Americans have at their finger tips we should all be enjoying what we do for a living.

If you are like many American and are looking for a way out, internet marketing might just be your choice. If you would like to learn more about internet marketing fill the form out below and start learning today.

Leave your comments and feedback on reasons you think so many Americans stay in jobs that they hate.

  • Thanks for the comment Christopher.
  • When you make a decision on what you really want instead of thinking about what you want right now you can reset your on switch. Once you decide what you really want, its amazing how motivated you get to just stop in your tracks and accomplish the thing. It will change your life. Great post John, thank you.
  • Thanks for the comment Terri

  • MLM vs. a job working for the man? I'm with you. Internet marketing is where it's at. I think this article underscores exactly what you're talking about http://amyjoneal.com/mlm-v-j-o-b-%e2%80%a6do-yo...
