How To Build Credibility Online!

We all need to have credibility to be successful. Think about it, why would someone join you in your business? Are you a credible person in your customers’ eyes? What I mean by a credible person is an expert, experienced, qualified, intelligent, skilled, trustworthy, honest, fair, unselfish and caring person.

I know thats a lot so lets break it down and see how we can build  credibility in our customers’ eyes.

Charisma can increase credibility. Charismatic people are great connecters who can inspire others easily. Charisma can be work on over time.  Yes it will come natural to some but many studies have shown people can learn to become charismatic. This will take sometime so lets look at what you can do right now to help with your credibility.

You have to have your own blog. If you’re online you need to have a voice and if you want that voice to be heard you should have a blog. Blogs are very easy to setup and maintain so really anyone can do it. But, think about it for a second. What happens when you start reading someones blog and it’s very well put together? You think instantly they’re a credible person just for having a cool blog.

The next thing is after someone finds you online or offline,  they want to know more about you. What do they do? They go to google and type your name in. You know that you have done itself. To a new girlfriend, a new coworker, or someone’s blog you were just on. So if people are looking for you on google, don’t you think you should control what is being said about you?

Now if you have a popular name like me it’s very hard to get onto the first page of google but, some how I managed and so can you. If you don’t have a famous name it should be very easy for you to take over the first page of google.

Facebook is where a ton of people spend time online right now. So use that traffic and build a Fanpage. How does this give you credibility you ask? It doesn’t at first. You have to build that Fanpage up into a massive following. Nothing is more credible than having a FanPage that thousands of people like. VERY POWERFUL!

My Twitter With 34,500+ Followers

Having a Twitter following is also very powerful.  Just like the Facebook Fanpage this won’t help you at first but, over time get a huge following and  you can become an internet celebrity. The key to the Twitter following is not to be like everyone else who follows everyone. The key is to get a ton of followers and only be following a few people. I have over 34,000 followers and I only follow 120 people. In the twitter world that is a big deal and gives me great credibility. How did I do this? Well that’s my little secret that I only share with my personal team. Sorry.

You have to Know More about your subject then the average person. When you start out you are not going to know where to start.  Everyone has to start somewhere.  In your case hit the training and learn. If you’re in Internet marketing the only way you will get credibility is to learn about it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to open an e-mail. You want to know why it’s not important because there was a time in my life when I didn’t know how to open an e-mail. I learned just like everyone else.

Hang around other leaders in your industry. Get to your company’s events and interview the founders and the top recruiters. Use those videos and pictures to your advantage. Think about it, if your online and see someone in a video talking to your company’s founder you instantly think they’re a credible person.

22 Leads In One Day

When you start getting results show people those results. If you’re just starting out and you generated 5 leads yesterday be proud of that. Yes you won’t be recruiting people who are generating 50 leads a day and that’s ok. Because a ton of people out there are not getting 5 leads a day.

The last thing you must remember is Build your credibility and keep it. Its hard to build but, very easy to lose. So make sure you understand what builds it and destroys it. Always build your credibility before persuading. Once you are seen as a credible person in your customers’ eyes you can use it to gain commitment without having to argue your case.
