by John Marshall on January 2, 2010

2010 is here and with it brings a better chance for anyone in the world with an internet connection to become successful. Internet marketing came on strong in the first decade of the 21st century. Making many millionaires, as people in their own homes figured out how to leverage the internet. Now it’s your turn to take advantage of the changing times and leverage the new technologies that are coming your way.

Stay ahead in 2010 by…

  1. Staying Plugged In: Get ready for the internet to continue to grow and the opportunities to become successful to float by if your not ready to to take advantage. You must become part of the industry of internet marketing read and learn everything you can and don’t stop even when you are seeing the success come your way.
  2. Social Media: Guess what social media is here to stay and back in 2000 if you know how big Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter  were going to be I’m guessing you would be a millionaire right now. Social media is changing very fast and new sites are popping up everyday. Just stay plugged in and don’t neglect all this free traffic.
  3. Google Wave: Google Wave could be the next twitter no one knows but my advice is learn about it and be in position early. With google backing it you know if it gets a little momentum google will send it over the top and when that happens many internet marketers will be right there with their surfboards ready riding Google Wave all the way to the bank.
  4. Videos: Videos are only getting more popular. People are becoming more prone to watching short 2 to 3 minute videos then reading long blog post or articles. Video is also so easy to make and edit with all the great low cost equipment available. Continue to make videos and post them on every piece of internet real estate you can find.

2010 is going to be a huge year for the internet and internet marketers, now just make sure you are in positions to capitalizes on these opportunities.

  • hey John - totally agree with your comments - the face of the internet is changing and social media is a huge part. He who fails to be social and create relationships may very well find themselves left behind on the race to success.
