YouTube is cracking down on network marketers, which has made me change some of my YouTube strategies. Many people have been asking me, what happen John, I don’t see you on YouTube anymore? So instead of telling everyone over and over it’s time I made a blog post so you guys can learn from my mistakes.

So here it is YouTube Slapped Me!

After deleting videos with company names in them  I now get about 150 less video views a day. That’s comes out to about 5 leads a day being lost. The reason I cleaned out my page was,  it’s more important for me to have a YouTube page for creditably then to have those videos.

OK before you start going and deleting videos or worse lose your YouTube account watch this webinar. This webinar lays out in detail what you should be doing to avoid the YouTube slap and also what you should do if you have been slapped.

John…thanks for the update on your YouTube status. Question for you… How much do you think the slap was because of the use of company names or do you think it was because you used the company names negatively? Such as XYZ scam or ABC scam exposed. I am curious…personally, I am not a fan of negative impression marketing. I know it works, but it's not for me. I do however, use a ton of company names in videos and articles.

Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I would be careful using the companies names. I know the negative title didn’t help me even though I was talking positive about the company in the video. I’m just going to move away from the whole using a companies name just to be safe. I have talked to other marketers whole got slapped for using companies names in a positive way.

The Best of luck to you it’s like walking in a mine field!
